Our two-day in-person or online Leading Staff Wellbeing course is designed specifically for education leaders and managers committed to creating a positive staff culture and improving wellbeing within their organisation. Our Leading Staff Wellbeing course, for leaders and managers, aims to improve the staff culture and wellbeing of your school or college from the top down. The course encourages schools to take a proactive approach to staff wellbeing, with the focus on embedding wellbeing into the school culture, rather than it being a nice ‘extra’.
Over the two days, we unpack what good wellbeing looks like for staff, considering areas such as values, psychological safety, workload, stress and gratitude, as well as a focus on action planning, how to lead cultural change and embed staff wellbeing at the heart of your organisation.
The course is available in-person or online and is packed with guides, resources and low or no-cost ideas. For those joining an online course, our trainers ensure the session is as engaging as if it were in person, even sending a box full of all the materials you would get at an in-person course.

The course is broken down into 9 modules delivered over the 2 days – with time for action planning built in. The course will be delivered by a minimum of 2 of our facilitators.

Should you wish to transfer your place to someone else, please get in touch with us to let us know in advance of the course date.
A facilitator will be in touch before the course starts to let you know what to bring. It would be useful to bring a copy of your school Wellbeing Policy, your school values, existing wellbeing action plans and any staff wellbeing data. We provide a workbook and stationery but please feel free to bring your own notebook or a tablet to make notes.
We want you to feel comfortable during the course so please dress accordingly.
For in-person courses, lunch is provided on both days along with tea and coffee throughout the day. Please advise on the booking form if you have any dietary needs
We advise that phones are kept on silent during the course and you block out your diary so you don’t have to miss any of the course for meetings however it is fine to take any calls if needed.
Yes – you will receive a certificate from the CPD Certification service.
Yes – the course counts as 12 CPD hours.
During the course you will receive a work booklet with information, activities and time and advice to help you action plan. After the course you will receive the PowerPoints and PDF files of the activities for use within your own setting.
Once you complete the booking form, your school will be invoiced directly.
