Testimonials

"Absolutely brilliant! I went from sceptic to convert in 48 hours. The course provides research-based theory and examples of strategies alongside the impact they can have. The delivery was effective and engaging and the resources provided were really useful. I left the course with immediate and long-term strategies to implement and an understanding of the impact of safeguarding staff wellbeing across our organisation."

Sue Prickett - CFO, SENDAT Academy

"The Wellbeing Champion course was relaxed and I felt confident in talking openly about the issues the education sector are facing. The Still Human team were amazing and inspirational, I came away from the course excited about what I would be able to do to once I was back at school! The team knew the challenges that are being faced by those in education and you could relate to everything that was being shared. They were approachable, informative and have all lived and breathed education, they were realistic about the changes education is going through but were so in touch with the issues being faced in the sector now. They provided advice on how to get the best out of people, it doesn’t have to be rigid – it really is the small things that have the biggest impact on people."

Michele Osborne - Director of Safeguarding, Framwellgate School Durham

“The course has hands down been the best two days I’ve experienced. I usually leave training with lots of ideas but not sure where to start but after completing the Wellbeing Champion course, I honestly feel like I have got this!”

Joanne Ramshaw - Deputy Headteacher, Collingwood Primary School

“The Wellbeing Champion course gave me more focus to create a positive culture within the school. The tools I was taught have allowed me to explore my own mindfulness and this has helped deepen my understanding to pass on to others. I made some really positive connections on the course as well; it was great to meet the team and those attending had similar passions when it came to improving the wellbeing of others in their schools. Everyone sharing their own experiences allowed several points of views to be explored and it was great to hear what is going elsewhere, everyone seemed to be having similar issues, so it was good to get together and work out how to implement the best plan for creating that culture change."

Louise Shields - School Business Manager, Beacon of Light School Sunderland

"Since attending the course, we now have a number of staff who have volunteered to be advocates of wellbeing in the college. Their role is to support managers in driving their department’s wellbeing action plans forward and assist in the initiatives we are running college wide. We run regular staff wellbeing sessions using the resources provided on the course and staff have engaged with these really well. I would just like to say a huge thank you as it was your sessions that inspired me to drive our strategy forward!"

Vicky Johnston - Curriculum Team Manager, Carlisle College

"Still Human ran an in-house Wellbeing Champion workshop for our Health & Wellbeing team. The workshop was excellent and equipped our health advocates with additional tools and knowledge to help them confidently build and roll out the plans to embed wellbeing into our culture. The workshop also instilled a renewed enthusiasm and confidence into the team to take ownership of the programme and keep the momentum going, which will only help us raise the importance of health and wellbeing within our company. I would highly recommend this workshop."

Nicola Duffey, Senior HR Manager
